Time Clock

SunMule records when your staff clock in and out of a salon.

What is recorded

Every time clock entry stores:

• The employee
• The salon they clocked in or out of
• Whether it was a clock in or a clock out
• The date and time

Employees can only clock in at a salon they are assigned to. See Employee management.

Who can clock in

Administrators, Managers, Leaders and Guest Services can all clock in and out. Customers cannot.

Who can review records

Time clock entries can be viewed by roles with the time clock view permission, which is currently the Administrator role. See User roles.

What SunMule does not do

Time clock records are not currently sent to a payroll provider, and SunMule does not calculate breaks, overtime or payroll. If you use a payroll service, use the clock in and clock out times as a reference when you prepare payroll.
